1. License

Subject to your agreement and continuing compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable and limited license to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes.

You agree that you will not:

• Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, mods or any unauthorized third-party software
• Modify any files that are part of the Service without express written consent
• Disrupt or overburden any server used to support the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

2. Safety Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Lightning Tracker is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate and timely lightning data sourced from NOAA GOES satellites, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy or completeness.

The Service is not a substitute for professional weather forecasting, official emergency alert systems, or guidance from local authorities. Always follow instructions from emergency services and local authorities during severe weather events.

We shall not be liable for any damages arising from reliance on information provided by the Service, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or loss of data.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

Lightning Tracker offers optional premium subscriptions available through in-app purchase via Apple App Store and Google Play Store. By purchasing a subscription:

• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's account settings (App Store or Google Play)
• Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store or Google Play Store refund policies

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the change.

4. Ownership

All rights, title and interest in and to the Service (including all intellectual property rights) are and shall remain owned by us. You acknowledge that you have no ownership or other property interest in any account or content within the Service.

5. Data Accuracy

Lightning data is sourced from NOAA GOES-19 Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM) satellite data and other third-party providers. While we make best efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that:

• All lightning strikes will be detected
• Alerts will be delivered without delay
• Storm zone boundaries will be precise

Network conditions, device settings, and other factors may affect data delivery and alert timing.

6. Termination

We may limit, suspend, terminate, modify, or delete accounts or access to the Service if you fail to comply with these Terms or for any actual or suspected illegal or improper use of the Service, with or without prior notice.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that have been inactive for 180 days. Before terminating an inactive account, we will send a notification to your registered email address at least 30 days in advance (where applicable).

7. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gijon, Asturias, Spain.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
